Jurassic World: Dominion is the third and final film in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise. Directed by Colin Trevorrow and produced by Steven Spielberg, the American science fiction action adventure film is the sequel to the 2018 film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The third installment of the trilogy was confirmed in February of 2020 following the success of Jurassic World and the subsequent Fallen Kingdom films, earning a combined total of nearly $3 billion worldwide.
Jurassic World 3: Release Date
The two previous Jurassic World movies proved successful after releasing in the month of June. Jurassic World 3 is expected to follow this trend, with a planned release schedule for June 11, 2021. As of July 6th, 2020, filming has resumed after being placed on a brief hiatus in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We want to make sure that we are going above and beyond the national protocols to create a safe environment.” A senior production executive at Universal told Deadline.
“Cost isn’t our main concern now: it’s safety. We will take direction from our medical team, but we’re confident that with the staggered scheduling and zones of talent and crew, along with a system of contact tracing, we can move forward with limited delay in production.”
If, for some reason, the June 2021 date cannot be met, the film’s release will most likely be pushed back to June of 2022.

Jurassic World 3 Storyline
Production is keeping the plot mostly under wraps, with various hints alluding to the direction they plan to take the threequel. Regarding the Fallen Kindgom ending, Trevorrow noted:
“Right now we’ve got lethal predators in wild areas surrounding cities all over the world, [but] they don’t go pack hunting for humans in urban areas. The world I get excited about is the one where it’s possible that a dinosaur might run out in front of your car on a foggy backroad, or invade your campground looking for food.”
In any case, Chris Pratt has promised fans that they will not be disappointed. If the third movie follows the same timeline of its predecessors, we expect the first trailer to release in December of 2020 with a second trailer rolling out in April 2021 in anticipation of the final film release in June of 2021.
