Glow is an American Comedy-drama created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch to be distributed by Netflix. Netflix’s Glow tells the story of the 1989s women’s professional wrestling circuit called Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) . The first season premiered on June 23, 2017, the second season on June 29, 2018, and the third season was released on August 9, 2019.
Set in a 1980s Los Angeles, a team of misfit women reinvent themselves into the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. The humor is similar to another Netflix Original series called “Orange Is The New Black”.


Glow Season 4: Release Date
On September 20, 2019 the show was renewed for a fourth season. Unfortunately, due to production complications from the COVID-19 pandemic, it was announced in October of 2020 that the fourth season has been cancelled.


Glow Season 4: Storyline
As previously noted, season 4 of Glow has sadly been cancelled. You can still stream the previous 3 seasons on Netflix today.
Alison Brie leads the cast as Ruth “Zoya the Destroya” Wilder, with Betty Gilpin as her former best friend Debbie ‘Liberty Belle’ Eagan. Arrow’s Sydelle Noel as Cherry ‘Black Magic’ Bang and singer Kate Nash will play the role of Rhonda ‘Britannica’ Richardson.
The show follows the personal and professional lives of these characters, depicting how they navigate the 1980s in Southern California and Nevada.
