Chicago P.D. season 8 opened with a boom when Kevin Atwater was fighting toward the twisted police. However, the recent Chicago P.D. season 8 episode 3 promo promised several interesting assignments associated with Detective Hailey Upton and Senior Detective Jay Halstead. Not only will they be doing the same thing, but there is passion in the breeze as well.
The plot was originally scheduled for Chicago P.D. season 7. But the seventh season was poor, which forced the plot to continue in the eighth season. Well, Upton is already on the FBI. Chicago P.D. season 8 episode 3 is about to pick up the plot. Furthermore, the showrunner Rick Eid shared what to expect from the next episode.
Chicago P.D., produced by Matt Olmstead and Dick Wolf, is an NBC crime drama series. It’s more in the fictitious 21 town. Detective sergeant Henry “Hank” Voight (Jason Beghe) heads the prestigious surveillance team. The first two seasons were based on police officers and the intelligence team. Soon, though, he changed his attention to Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Officer Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and also advanced the team.
Chicago P.D. Season 8 Episode 3: Trailer Shows A New Mission
The third chapter of the latest trailer shows that the FBI gave Upton and Halstead a “joint-level” task force. Halstead, though, doesn’t seem happy about it. Well, who’s endured losing partners because of the FBI mission, how should Halstead feel optimistic about the job. The trailer opens up with Upton claiming Halstead doesn’t want her to take it. What it could suggest was only discussed in the next season.
Chicago P.D. Season 8 Episode 3: Upcoming Storyline
Rick said that the next episode would see the blooming friendship between Upton and Halstead. Plus, it’s still having to struggle with the problem of living together whilst dating. This uncertainty grows further because you’re cops who endanger your life every day when negotiating with violent offenders.
Well, Rick’s words clarify why Upton and Halstead will send each other a date shot. Yet both of them have a poor history with romantic partners, and even their marriages have ended terribly. But, in their life, there’s a huge obstacle to meet. Although they both know each other, dating will add some fresh spice to the program.
Unlike last season, where nobody had the chance to create any deep realizations. This season is going to take place on a personal basis. In the previous segment, Officer Adam Ruzek took a bullet in “White Knuckle” as patrol officers failed to react to Atwater’s terms. Over the course of the season, Ruzek felt angry about the hideous bruise.
Finally, Atwater discovered a way to handle Katie Nolan, who was a challenge to the whole squad. Atwater did so without losing or having a poor deal. Yet the surveillance agency also confronts too many risks. Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller’s attention is on Hank Voight and his squad after the team’s treatment of the inquiry in the first two episodes of the 8th season.
