Carmen Sandiego Season 4: Netflix Release Date, Storyline and Cast

Season 3 of Netflix’s Carmen Sandiego has recently premiered on the streaming platform on October 1st, 2020 with five, 24-minute new episodes. The season has scored a solid 7.9 out of 10 on IMDB and a whopping 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s pretty much guaranteed we’ll be seeing the show get renewed for a fourth season. On October 2nd, just one day after the season 3 premiere, Netflix officially confirmed via Twitter that the show will be returning for a fourth season.

Carmen Sandiego Season 4 Release Date on Netflix

An official release date has not been announced for season 4 of Carmen Sandiego; however, we expect it to follow a similar timeline as the previous seasons. Both season 2 and season 3 premiered on Netflix on October 1st in 2019 and 2020. We anticipate season four will release in the fall of 2021, most likely on October 1st as well.

‘Carmen Sandiego’ Season 4: Storyline

Producers of Carmen Sandiego love to leave viewers speculating the series plot direction and season 3 was no different. The ending cliff hanger left the storyline wide open for how the the plot may evolve in season 4. Like we saw in season three, we expect the next season to feature more family, justice and redemption while revealing more secrets about Carmen’s backstory. As always, we’ll see Carmen traveling to new places around the world while continuing battle the ominous V.I.L.E.

‘Carmen Sandiego’ Season 4: Cast

Although no details have been released regarding the season 4 cast, it is to be expected that the majority of characters’ roles will be reprised.

Carmen Sandiego aka Black Sheep
Voiced by Gina Rodriguez who is well known for her leading roles in Jane the Virgin.

Voiced by Finn Wolfhard, known for his acting role as Mike Wheeler in Netflix’s Stranger Things. Finn voices Carmen’s righthand man, Player. Player is a white-hat hacker who helps Carmen plan her heists by obtaining intel on the places she visits and keeping tabs on local authorities.

Zack (voiced by Michael Hawley) and Ivy (voiced by Abby Trott)
Zack and Ivy are a twin sibling duo who have been helping Carmen after they met on one of her heists.

Shadow-san aka Sahura
Voiced by Paul Nakauchi, Shadow-san is a previous head faculty member of V.I.L.E teaching stealth and covert thievery. He joined Carmen’s team in season 2 to help her find her mother.
