The Hills 3.5 Live Finale!

Read Below as Christine from our Production Team in LA takes us through her personal experience on the red carpet for The Hills 3.5 Live Finale

So, what did you do Monday night? I was burdened with the terrible task of putting on a semi-fancy dress, fitted blazer & covering “The Hills” 3.5 Live Finale in Beverly Hills. I know, I know,…it’s a tough job, but someone had to do it! The night had it’s ups and downs, but all in all it was a success. The journey to the tippy-top of Benedict Canyon to get to the ginormous mansion where the party was being held was a long and harrowing experience, but the views were spectacular! Rumor has it that the driveway up to the mansion alone cost 20 million dollars!

The hot topics on the red carpet were how unusually cold it was for a May night in typically sunny southern California, will Heidi and Spencer show up (they didn’t) and, of course, who are you wearing? All of the women of “The Hills” looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Like a hit TV show, fashion sense, oodles of money and flawless skin just wasn’t enough.

Lauren & Lo both sported dresses from Lauren’s very own Lauren Conrad Holiday 2008 Collection that will be available to purchase at www.shoplaurenconrad.com this October. Lauren accented her outfit with a Marc by Marc Jacobs light blue oversized clutch (I want one!) along with some signature jewelry pieces and peep toe Christian Louboutin. Lo also chose black Louboutins, but went for a wedge heel.

Audrina was freezing her derrière off, so her time on the red carpet was limited, but she looked gorgeous in a green Alvin Valley Dress, rock star Broken English jewelry and Brian Atwood pumps. Whitney, also freezing, wore a black strapless dress with gold sequin accents by Una Soltani, Hellmuth gold jewelry and Aldo Atlantic City black patent pumps . To warm herself up after her trip down the red carpet Whitney added an awesome tuxedo jacket from her upcoming Whitney Eve line. Check out the tails and electric blue lining…can’t wait to see the rest of her collection!

Last, but certainly not least was the nice Pratt, Stephanie, who wore a Dallin Chase Lou Dress with the straps in front (also can be worn as a halter), Guy and Eva jewelry, Christian Louboutin peep toe red and white printed pumps and a clutch from none other than, Forever 21! Teaching the very important fashion lesson of mixing pieces from high and low end is key for NOT going into massive credit card debt. Ms. Lauren Conrad herself added to her dressy outfit a less expensive red enamel Banana Republic bangle. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available at BR, but try this CC Skye Thin Buckle Bracelet in red for a similar look.
