OK, who doesn’t know that Chyler Leigh (a.k.a. Lexie Grey) is pregnant in real life? Well, now you do. Since the timing is a little off for her to be preggers on Grey’s Anatomy this season - would be a little soon for Mark Sloan’s baby, right? - the writers have been cleverly hiding her burgeoning belly with all sorts of props: scrubs, pillows, blankets, coats, and baggy tops.
Though we loved how they worked in Lexie’s ever-growing size last week (remember the stress-eating line?), this week, they just used a table to hide her bump. Where is this going? It’s all lead-up to our fave look from “No Good At Saying Sorry” - Lexie’s Motherhood (gasp!) maternity top.
Granted, there’s not always a lot to choose from in the fashion department on this scrub-centric show, but this top is really cute - especially for the moms-to-be out there! And hey, if you’re feeling uninspired, or just want to be really comfy, you can always get the same scrubs they use on the show here.
Leave it to Gabrielle Solis to leave us speechless. Oh, do we have scoop for you, Private Practice fans. Of the handbag variety (the very best kind!) We wanted to give you the deets on a bag Addison Montgomery is carrying in tonight’s episode, ‘What Women Want,’ as well as some insight into all the fabulous handbags all the women in Private Practice have been carrying all season long.
In the first scene in the show, Addison is walking by the beach with a super-cute gold clutch by Lockheart (above). (In case you’re wondering, she’s also wearing a fun printed strapless dress and cardigan by J.Crew - but unfortunately the dress has sold out!) Here’s the costume details:
Many of you have been asking us about the handbags from the show this season. We are pleased to tell you that, with few exceptions, the bags have all been by Lockheart. It’s not a widespread brand, though they do carry them at Saks Fifth Avenue from time to time. We’ve also spotted a few of the bags on Bag, Borrow or Steal. Best bet? OK, so I have a little love-hate thing going on with Olivia on The City. At the beginning of the season, she seemed like she was truly trying to help Whitney navigate her way through the Big Apple. Now, all she seems to want to do is throw our girl under the bus - not nice! Anyway, I was so sucked into the drama that I almost missed the cute printed DVF dress Olivia had on during the party. (You know I must be distracted when I forget about shopping - eek!) Take a peek:

Last night’s Top Chef Reunion Special was fantastic! And honestly, I think that I am developing a slight crush on Andy Cohen. Not only is he a bigwig producer for Bravo, but he leads the best reunion shows on television - hands down.
Featured on last night’s episode were some fabulous clips from throughout the season, as well as some fancy Top Chef tee’s. Lucky me, the people who create these t-shirts sit about 10 feet away from my cubicle so I get all the scoop.
Here are some of my faves:
I Heart Fabio Tee - If you are like me and think that Fabio should have won, then you need this shirt! And now that Stefan has one… I think that we all should!
I’m a Cougar in the Kitchen Tee - Love this shirt and how Ariane totally embraces her cougar status. (Side note - did you know that her restaurant is called CulinAriane? How cute!).
Top Scallop Tee (not featured last night) - This tee is hilarious. Being that I live in San Francisco, I think that I will have to go to Absinthe and personally deliver this to Jamie. One of the best lines from Fabio inspired this tee, “This is Top Chef, not Top Scallop.”
