Rewind to last night’s “Forget About Boys” episode of The City. Can you believe that Zac had the guts to meet up with Roxy at The Gates carrying a six-lady entourage? While we know Roxy gets herself into some messy debacles, even she didn’t deserve that gratuitous show of disrespect.

Roxy was definitely the star of this episode, and not just because of a thoughtless gesture by some boy. We loved her fashion choices, especially the Dolce Vita Jumper she wore to talk blind dates with Whit at Think Cafe. With its side slit pockets and adjustable straps, this silky Dolce Vita Buenos Aires Tie Jumper is just as fun and functional.

We’re not going to come down too much harder on Olivia for not prepping enough for her latest Elle assigment. After all, it’s not easy to look this good. It takes countless trials and errors, great attention to detail and plenty of mirror time.

The girls hit the ultra trendy store Jeffrey in this week’s ”Meet The Fackelmayers” episode of The City to peruse a girl’s first love (what else?), shoes. Oh, and maybe to dish about some hot lifeguards. Samantha outfitted in these Genetic Denim Cigarette Jeans in Gum Drop for the excursion.

In tonight’s episode of The City, it’s boys, boys, boys for Whitney and Sami. The girls hit Bergdorf Goodman for a book release party and end up spending more time browsing the eye candy than the merchandise.

The one that gets Whitney’s attention? The brother of Samantha’s friend Freddie. Whitney draws him in with this delectable Doma Leather Hooded Jacket. Whitney was reunited with former L.A. bestie Roxy in this week’s “Sleeping With The Frenemy” episode of The City. But Roxy’s manifested unruly behavior has us asking questions. Will she really prove to be a friend to sweet Whitney or an enemy?

This West Coast turned East Coast bad girl wasted no time crashing Whitney’s pad. She also got her roommate busted by throwing a boisterous party that got broken up by the cops! Still, we can appreciate her newfound New York fashion sense.

Take this Nina Ricci Cavas Blazer she wore to scope out Whitney’s new place. A canvas lamé-like finish and unparalleled versatility to go from dressed up to dressed down set this piece apart from the plethora of other blazers out there. Last night’s ”Sleeping With The Frenemy” episode of The City unveiled an unlikely style muse. And yet, the location in which she thrives isn’t so farfetched: the hallways of Elle magazine!

Of course, we’re talking about the Elle’s Director of Public Relations, Erin Kaplan. Erin let her feet do the talking during her awkward meeting with Olivia and Joe Zee by pairing these Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 Studded Pumps with a simple black dress and edgy gold jewelry.  These black leather studded pumps  toughen up any LBD for some high-altitude attitude.

We’re looking forward to the return of MTV’s The City more than ever. That’s because this season it’s out with the old and in with the new! That’s right. New lives, new jobs, new friends and new frenemies… for both Whitney and Olivia.

According to MTV, while Olivia will be stirring up drama at Elle magazine, Whitney has ditched DVF to rejoin forces with Kelly Cutrone. Along with Whit’s old friend Samantha from last season, expect to see Roxy Olin (Whitney’s former friend from L.A.) and Sam’s new pal Freddy in her circle of aquaintances.

And for the fans of Erin, Jay, Adam and Allie? Sorry to say, but they are no longer on the show!

From uncomfortable workplace confrontations to unrequited love proposals, the “I Lost Myself in Us” season finale episode of The City was certainly full of dramatic surprises. But it was also full of delicious fashion (we’ve come to expect nothing less from the likes of this glamorous group).

While you may have been caught up in yelling at your TV during Olivia’s relentless lecture to Whitney about keeping personal life out of the workplace, chances are you couldn’t help but quell your excitement to appreciate her Pazza Sweater in Red & White from Diane Von Furstenberg.

With so much taste in its chic tailored fit and bold red and white candy stripes, it’s no wonder DVF ultimately chose Olivia to be its London contact (sorry Whit).
