Style Spotlight: The Wedding Party in Grey’s Anatomy 522

Even though we knew weeks ago that it would be Izzie and not Meredith donning the wedding dress in last night’s episode, “What A Difference A Day Makes,” we were still sniffling by the end. Izzie was resplendent in Meredith’s Kenneth Pool wedding gown (which we spoiled for you last week) as she walked down the aisle of her dreams. (It’s the Lana style, in case you have to have it!) Check it out, then click over to see it on the Kenneth Pool site.

The bridesmaids didn’t look too shabby either in their Amsale bridesmaids dresses. We loved the floaty chiffon fabric and the cross-over design. Meredith and Crisitina completed the look with Juicy Couture dangle heart earrings and silver Naturalizer sandals.

Fashion Spoiler! Meredith’s Wedding Dress in Grey’s Anatomy 520

Oh, did we ever think the day would come that we would see Meredith Grey in a wedding dress?! We really, really, really hoped so, at least! And in this week’s episode, “Sweet Surrender,” she finally dons one!

Though our sources (and continuity shots) tell us that it may not be Meredith who ends up in this dress on her wedding day, we can officially report the dirt on the gown. This sparkly stunner is by none other than Kenneth Pool (chief designer, Austin Scarlett of Project Runway fame!) Here’s a close-up of the dress (shown in white):

Though Meredith tries on several gowns during this episode (including a tulle number and a strange creation with short sleeves), this one is definitely our favorite. For you brides-to-be, it’s the Lana style for Kenneth Pool - see it here.
