What’s one thing we will always love? The perfect trench. And the fire-red color and swingy shape of Melinda’s Fendi coat (seen on the “Cursed” episode of Ghost Whisperer) makes it even better. We bet you’d look good in this thing even if you were wearing pajamas underneath. (Technically, Melinda is wearing pajamas in this scene - her dress is actually a nightgown by Kumi Kookoon! Get Melinda’s Fendi trench here, and shop more from Ghost Whisperer here.

Update! Melinda’s trench was indeed silk, as one intrepid poster pointed out. However, the red color is no longer available online. The red trench shown is the same style in a different fabric. To purchase the silk version that Melinda wore on the show in blue, click here.

While we’re typically fans of Melinda’s style, what we especially love about this look is that it is effortlessly chic - no matter what you layer under it! Dressing to thrill doesn’t have mean risqué. Check out this Autumn Cashmere cardigan that Melinda wore on tonight’s “Thrilled To Death” episode of Ghost Whisperer. Featuring a boat neck, button front and 3/4 sleeves, this sweater has enough practicality and personality to get your pulse racing. Melinda paired hers in lavender with a multi-color silk slip from Christine Vancouver, but we think it’d look just as great layered over a sensational spring dress or even a tank and jeans.

White top with a black skirt is generally a fashion no-no - you look too much like the waitstaff. But on tonight’s Ghost Whisperer, ‘Ghost Busted,’ Melinda Gordon breaks the fashion rules in a very good way. Instead of “Would you like a napkin with that shrimp canape?”, this Corey Lynn Calter dress clearly says, “I’d adore another glass of champagne!” In other words, classy. See for yourself:
