Stylista: Meet the Editor From Elle

You’ve seen model hopefuls get made into a top model on America’s Next Top Model, and you’ve also seen aspiring designer’s get made into America’s Top Designer on Project Runway now watch eleven stylish editor hopefuls compete to become Junior Editor at Elle.

The creators of America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway bring you Stylista, the new reality series where eleven stylish contestants from fashion backgrounds compete in a series of assistant and editorial challenges to land a job as Junior Editor at Elle.  The last assistant standing will receive a paid editorial position at Elle magazine, a paid lease on a luxe apartment in Manhattan, and a clothing allowance at H&M, all for one year, valued at $100,000.

Sound easy? Not quite. Imagine if The Devil Wears Prada were true. Yep, you get the picture. Elle’s Creative Director, Joe Zee, and Fashion News Director Anne Slowey make sure that all the assistants don’t take the task of assistant lightly. Not only do they critique the aspiring ELLE employees work they also critique their sense of style and ability to convey style to others.
