Shoptalk: Amanda’s Cage Ankle Boots from Ugly Betty 324

Hey there. We know a few things about these fabulous booties - they’re by Manolo Blahnik, and Amanda wore them in The Fall Issue of Ugly Betty with a great Yigal Azrouel tulip skirt. Read on to see what we discovered!

What we haven’t been able to do is locate these exact shoes online for you (we suspect they are a season or two ago.) Fortunately, there are some great cage bootie alternatives out there so you can get Amanda’s hot look.

First, the Yves Saint Laurent Cage Bootie. This shoe is going to be hot this year (they just hit the street in February), and right now it’s even on sale. Check them out here.

Next, we have a summer version of the Manolo Blahnik cage shoe - this one has pony hair and white accents, but we really love the rough-meets-nice vibe. It’s one we’re planning to add to our collection … one day. Get the shoe here.
