The latest show news on the block? In light of the economic situation, Ugly Betty will be scaling down spending in the wardrobe department come Season 4.
According to Coco Perez, the crew is “being mindful of budget and waiting for markdowns,” especially on the notoriously pampered Wilhelmina Slater’s attire.
Vanessa Williams notes that the costumers recently purchased a Naeem Kahn dress for $800 that originally retailed at $3,000!
We’re just hoping that they don’t touch the accessories budget. From the handbags to the jewelry, we live for those elegant pieces that complete the high fashion looks on the show like these Circle Drop Earrings previously seen on Wilhelmina Slater.
