In the final episode of Ugly Betty, Amanda was wearing a pair of black, weblike ankle boot/shoes. Where can I get these? -bramble
Hey there. We know a few things about these fabulous booties - they’re by Manolo Blahnik, and Amanda wore them in The Fall Issue of Ugly Betty with a great Yigal Azrouel tulip skirt. Read on to see what we discovered!
Hey there! On the season finale episode of Ugly Betty, Amanda carried a bright blue patent handbag. Where can I get it? Thanks! - Kimberly
Nice spotting! We’ve been getting lots of questions about the bags that Marc and Betty were carrying this season, too. And for those of you that are desperately wondering, don’t worry! We’re still looking into that wild Tiger print tote seen on Marc. READ MORE
We know Wilhelmina knocks Claire Meade for her fashion choices on almost every episode of Ugly Betty, but we’re not afraid to admit that we usually like her look. On last night’s season finale, ‘The Fall Issue,’ Claire looked fab in this Michael Kors print dress, paired with a Wolford bodysuit and red cape. Check out more looks from Ugly Betty in our finale photo gallery, and shop this episode here.
We were loving Amanda’s super-cool technical tulip skirt on the season finale of Ugly Betty. It’s by designer Yigal Azrouel, and we love that it uses such comfy, stretchy fabric for a high-end look. No, we’d never choose neon green socks to go with this little ensemble, but we love the dress Betty is wearing on the ‘In The Stars’ episode of Ugly Betty. Perfect for summer, this cap-sleeved belted frock by Nanette Lepore is, well, a bowlful of cherries for us. Get it in black and white here, and shop more from this episode of Ugly Betty here.
We’re pretty big advocates of Betty’s clothes around here. Yes, they’re outlandish and kooky and too-colorful-to-wear, but taken apart, the pieces are completely, totally wearable. Case in point? This adorable, Chanel-style tweed jacket by Nanette Lepore.
Now, we may not pair it with a green tulle petticoat with orange cotton binding, or throw on Puce open-toe Mary Jane shoes with pink scallop trim and fabric bow buckles as Betty did on the show, but the jacket? We’ll wear it anytime.

Is Betty finally saying buh-bye to her braces? According to Ugly Betty series creator Silvio Horta, the sparkly, silver smile will be ancient history by the end of next season.
“Her braces will be off by the end of next season. Next year, there’s going to be a progression in her look overall. It’ll still be Betty, but you’ll see some growth in that direction,” Horta told EW.com’s Michael Ausiello.
We’ll be very interested to see what “progression” her look might take - but anything less than 11 colors per outfit would be unnatural, in our humble opinions.

Wilhelmina Slater was certainly in her finest fashion form in the “Rabbit Test” episode of Ugly Betty, donning extravagant gowns and designer shoes left and right. One particularly wearable find was this bright orange shirt dress with billowing, rolled up sleeves, by this episode’s designer darling, Halston.
As much as we would like to show up to the office in Brian Atwood thigh-high purple suede boots, a fishnet bodysuit, and jaunty sequin beret, we wouldn’t necessarily pick the same accessories as Wilhelmina did. Good thing the dress is a knock-out all on it’s own.
