Expert panelist Erika Stanley has been a true style staple throughout our exclusive coverage of The Fashion Show. Week after week, we’ve called on her expert opinion to help us break down the drama, commentary and couture of each episode. Thus, you can probably understand why it saddens us to part (if only momentarily) with this chic investment. Read on to hear style expert Erika Stanley’s final thoughts on America’s vote and The Fashion Show season finale.
SO!: Were you surprised by anything any of contestants said during the reunion show?
I wasn’t surprised by anything said, but I was happy that Andrew spoke up and voiced how he felt about the elimination the week he was sent home. His dress, design and construction was much better than the dress that wasn’t eliminated on the chopping block, and I felt that it was important for him to get that off his chest and confront the judges with his thoughts. And I couldn’t possibly be surprised by anything Merlin said, because, like Isaac, I don’t understand a word he says!
SeenON! caught up with designer James-Paul Ancheta last week to talk The Fashion Show finale! Ultimately, America just wasn’t buying James-Paul’s final collection, as he received the least amount of votes among the final three designers. But he’s not going to let a third place finish get him down. Read on to hear James-Paul stand by his work and capture the show experience as he saw it.
SO!: Did you agree with the final three? Who else do you think should have had the chance to be voted on by America?
I agreed with the final three. It represented different markets and demographics in fashion. However, I do not think that the voting strategy was aimed to cover all three. I think the final four should have been voted on by the public. It created a false hope for one of the contestants and it was a tragic feeling for him.
After Reco was eliminated in last week’s episode, we asked you to tell us who you think will win The Fashion Show. You voted, and the results are in - it’s Anna to win! Make sure to tune in tonight on Bravo to see if your prediction comes true. And check out Anna’s final collection in our Fashion Show Finale: Anna’s Final Collection photo gallery!
This morning, SeenON! sat down to chat with Reco from The Fashion Show to get all the details about last week’s elimination and his final collection. Read on to see what the king of “runway sexy” had to say about who he hopes to dress in the future, his predictions for the winner and his success since the show.
SO!: The judges critiqued all the designers’ collections for flaws like over-complexity and fit. So why do you think you were ultimately chosen to be eliminated over the other designers?
I told James-Paul that it was going to be me. I was the fan favorite and I just knew that I was going to be eliminated. But I gave 110 percent - I gave it my all.
We just wrapped up our interview about The Fashion Show finale with incomparable fashion expert Erika Stanley of SNOB Style. The hot topics of discussion? Anna, Daniella, Reco and James-Paul, of course! Read on to see what she had to say about their final collections, and even find out who she voted for…
SO!:In the elimination last night, the designers were critiqued for various mistakes in their collections. Among these were over-complexity, fit, lack of hanger appeal and discontinuity. Which of these errors do you think is the most unforgivable?
Either fit or hanger appeal. No matter how beautiful a piece is, no one is going to buy it if it doesn’t fit right. The line’s not going to sell to consumers, and the buyers just aren’t going to buy it. Take jeans, for example. A lot of people are dropping money on designer jeans because they fit so well.
Reco is out! The judges told him that he did sexy well, but he needs to simplify his designs. Do you think they made the right call? Check out his final collection from The Fashion Show in our Fashion Show: Reco’s Final Collection photo gallery and decide for yourself. Then tell us…
It’s the night we’ve been waiting for… The Fashion Show season finale! In tonight’s episode, the designers will be showcasing their collections in their final fashion show. And while the winner is in America’s hands, there’s a twist! Anna, Reco, Daniella and James-Paul will indeed be hitting the runway, but the judges will be eliminating one of the designers before America can vote! Tell us…

SeenON! sat down with Johnny of Bravo’s The Fashion Show this week to talk about what it feels like to be eliminated right before the finals (ouch)! Read on to hear Johnny’s point of view.
SO!: You didn’t seem too excited when it came time to partner up with the eliminated designers - how was it working with Angel? How helpful was she?
J: Working with Angel was okay. It felt a little awkward for her, because I know she is loyal to Reco. You could tell she felt like she deserved to still be there.
This morning, SeenON! sat down to chat with expert panelist Erika Stanley of SNOB Style to talk The Fashion Show finals and fashion faux pas! From Johnny’s losing Lanvin replica to Daniella’s winning original, you better believe that this fashionista paid close attention to the details and offered plenty of industry insight. Read on as stylist Erika Stanley relates her excitement, mortification and predictions for the remaining designers!
SO!: Johnny tried to pass off his design as an original. How big of a faux pas is creating a “knock-off” in the fashion world?
ES: I feel sorry for him. He’s going to be branded as a designer that creates knock-offs. He made the exact replica in a different color. Designers are very protective over their work. The industry is very small and the industry talks. Johnny can’t sew, he can’t drape… it all leads me to wonder, what can he do? After this challenge, you can bet that he doesn’t have his investor anymore and should be looking for new career. He lacks experience and being a designer is all about originality and inspiration.
