We’re not going to come down too much harder on Olivia for not prepping enough for her latest Elle assigment. After all, it’s not easy to look this good. It takes countless trials and errors, great attention to detail and plenty of mirror time.
So while the results of Olivia’s blogger interviews came up short, her classy interviewer ensemble did not disappoint. The piece that brings it all together? Her Alexis Bittar chunky gold link necklace.
Ready to steal Olivia’s coveted style? Pair this Alexis Bittar Link Necklace similar to Olivia’s with a Zara Jacket, Zara Shorts and one pair of really elusive Top Shop heels. And hey - even if you don’t nail the interview, at least you will look the part.

Sorry Olivia. Based on what we heard in your meeting with Joe, we don’t think anyone will be reading your blogger interview. Not if Erin has anything to do with it.
It’s a good thing you have amazing taste in fashion. In fact, we think it is the saving grace that’s keeping you at Elle when your high-profile assignments go awry.
Let’s talk about, for example, your Multi-Chain Top Shop Necklace from last night’s ”Weekend At Freddie’s” episode of The City. You know as well as we do that key accessories like this multirow mixed metal piece can take an otherwise casual look from simply good to glamorous.

Hi SeenON! In that same scene in the last episode of The City (with Erin’s blue tank and skirt), what dress is Olivia wearing? The dress that Joe Zee complimented? Thanks! - Carrie
Nice spotting, Carrie. Who wouldn’t want a piece of Joe Zee-approved attire? Unfortunately, Olivia’s long floral dress is vintage Urban Outfitters and no longer available online.
The good news? You can still steal Olivia’s style from this episode by layering this Surplice Floral Print Dress under a Reiss jacket and Steve Madden shoes just like Olivia. Add a Topshop vintage necklace and you’re ready to hit the offices of Elle.

We’re looking forward to the return of MTV’s The City more than ever. That’s because this season it’s out with the old and in with the new! That’s right. New lives, new jobs, new friends and new frenemies… for both Whitney and Olivia.
According to MTV, while Olivia will be stirring up drama at Elle magazine, Whitney has ditched DVF to rejoin forces with Kelly Cutrone. Along with Whit’s old friend Samantha from last season, expect to see Roxy Olin (Whitney’s former friend from L.A.) and Sam’s new pal Freddy in her circle of aquaintances.
And for the fans of Erin, Jay, Adam and Allie? Sorry to say, but they are no longer on the show!
Check out the preview clip above for a sneak peek at what’s to come. And shop the best of The City here.
From uncomfortable workplace confrontations to unrequited love proposals, the “I Lost Myself in Us” season finale episode of The City was certainly full of dramatic surprises. But it was also full of delicious fashion (we’ve come to expect nothing less from the likes of this glamorous group).
While you may have been caught up in yelling at your TV during Olivia’s relentless lecture to Whitney about keeping personal life out of the workplace, chances are you couldn’t help but quell your excitement to appreciate her Pazza Sweater in Red & White from Diane Von Furstenberg.
With so much taste in its chic tailored fit and bold red and white candy stripes, it’s no wonder DVF ultimately chose Olivia to be its London contact (sorry Whit).

OK, so I have a little love-hate thing going on with Olivia on The City. At the beginning of the season, she seemed like she was truly trying to help Whitney navigate her way through the Big Apple. Now, all she seems to want to do is throw our girl under the bus - not nice! Anyway, I was so sucked into the drama that I almost missed the cute printed DVF dress Olivia had on during the party. (You know I must be distracted when I forget about shopping - eek!) Take a peek:
I feel a little guilty for always loving Olivia’s clothes, especially when her attitude leaves a lot to be desired. But I’m getting over it - especially because I need something fabulous to wear to reward myself for all the working out I’ve been doing … click here to see me action!
Be tempted by all the great looks from The City here, and click here for more about me and my friends here: Only in a Woman’s World.
P.S. Spoiler Alert - Next week’s episode is bound to be tense as Whitney and Jay BREAK UP! My advice – invite over some pals and stock up on the goodies and alleviate the stress with a little snacking.

Hold up - stop everything! Are our eyes and ears deceiving us or did Olivia really just go into that DVF global communications meeting totally unprepared? She may have flopped when it came to her formal presentation on handbags, but if there’s one thing she got right, it’s this Marla Bis Top in Posey that she wore at the beginning of the “I’m Sorry Whit” episode of The City.
Wear like Olivia and layer this silk blouse under a black vest to punch up the formality. It’s a classy piece that will keep you looking graceful and poised even when you’re trembling inside - right, Olivia?

Did you catch it? At the end of the most recent “Mingling With The Commoners” episode of The City, Olivia was wearing this DVF WIletta Dress in Falling Willow Black while on her way to the DVF offices. In fact, she was even wearing it while she was sitting at her work desk, but we’re guessing you missed it because of the high drama that ensued with Whitney over Jay’s concert. Okay, and maybe because it was also layered under that beautiful Civil War Jacket.
You already knew that we are obsessed with Olivia’s über chic style on The City. As far as we’re concerned, the girl is the queen of strategically pairing retro-inspired pieces with high-end designs. And this jacket from the “Mingling with the Commoners” episode serves as proof.
From its regal epaulets and placket to its embossed metal hardware, this knit double-breasted jacket by Silence & Noise nods to vintage military fashion while serving as the perfect finishing touch for a high-class city look. And imagine our surprise when we discovered it’s readily available from one of our favorite trendy retailers: Urban Outfitters!
Each week, the ladies of The City certainly “bring it” in the fashion department. But this week, we’re particularly excited because their fabulous footwear has been getting some well-deserved airtime. Check out, for instance, these Report Signature Clinton Booties seen on Olivia in this week’s “He Never Said He Had A Girlfriend” episode. From their pyramid-studded ankle strap to their exceptionally high heel, they exude a tough-girl vibe that no one on the streets of New York will want to mess with. That, and they serve as the perfect finishing touch on already fierce outfit!
‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ (Sun., 9PM, HBO) season 7 finale
We’ll be sad to see Larry and his pals go, not only because there’s no official word yet on an eighth season, but also because this season has been, arguably, the show’s best. Larry let his … Read more
