In an effort to improve my optimism about this economy (if you saw my Smith Barney portfolio - you too would need an injection of positive financial news hourly) I am happy to report that our favorite Project Runway Winner, Christian Siriano is thriving!
Per New York Magazine, Christian Siriano has doubled his orders and added stores this season. This of course is not surprising after attending his Spring ‘09 Runway Show, as there was no doubt in my mind that his line would skyrocket.
In true Christian style, his response to this success warrants a laugh: “The good thing about my company is it’s really small and it’s growing, and we didn’t have to lay off a bunch of employees because I don’t have a bunch of employees.”
